Senior Frontend Developer

Your mission 

WePlan is a dynamic startup dedicated to developing and delivering tools for strategic and operational ManpowerPlanning. We are steadily growing beyond our established client base in the travel, transport and logistics sector.

Join our thriving engineering team as a passionate frontend developer. In this role, you will work closely with our frontend team, contributing to various aspects of our work:

UI: Embrace the daily challenge of defining workflows based on cutting-edge UX principles, crafting mockups with state-of-the-art tools, and ultimately transforming them into a responsive web-based UI with rigorous test coverage.

Architecture: Collaborate closely with our backend and dev-ops teams to design adaptable and robust system architectures integrated into our existing cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements: Employ requirements engineering techniques to gather insights from our customers and consultants, skillfully weaving them into our application.

About you 

• You're a modern Java Script expert (> ES6), ideally well-versed in TypeScript and the web ecosystem (strong grasp of HTML/CSS). Simultaneously, you're pragmatic and open to exploring other technologies.
• You boast a minimum of 4 years' experience in a modern JavaScript framework like AngularJs, React, or, ideally, Ember.js.
• Your academic background includes a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field, ideally with a focus on software engineering, UX design, or web development.
• You're passionate about crafting software that's both elegant and delightful to use.
• You're fluent in spoken and written English. German language skills are a plus.

In addition, we utilize modern Python with robust typing and incorporate scientific libraries like pandas and polars, all seamlessly hosted on GoogleCloud and Kubernetes
